My Final Creation

Below is my final creation for EXP2. It shows the outside element (which is the piece of architecture designed for Jane Goodall), the inside element (which is the piece designed for Florence Nightingale) and the on the wall space (which is the piece designed to be a meeting place in between the two laboratories in which the two clients could collaborate on ideas).

Below is a brief description of each space of the architecture is written below:

Outside Space: As this space was designed for the client Jane Goodall, the concept behind it was to keep he idea that apes are like people and so should be treated as such portraying through it. There are many hidden symbolic elements throughout this piece. The colour of the lighting is the first noticeable element. The idea of the colour red being portrayed in contrast with the black and white of my own textures was to show how her journey through life is about the struggle and fight for recognition of unity and equality among human and the animal kingdom, with focus on the apes. This portraying strongly the idea of nothing being as plain as it may appear (hence the black and white).
Secondly, this piece was designed to show this concept of Jane's' by showing characteristics of the apes and by reinterpreting them in such as way as of human interaction - this was done by the idea of the ramp. The ramp shows the apes persona of climbing and i have shown this by making the humans climb and move throughout the architecture through a series of long forever climbing ramps.

This image here relates to my Electroliquid Aggregation quote by showing light at end of tunnel, which is the symbolism of the two clients journeys of reaching a common goal.

Inside Space: As this space was designed for the client Florence Nightingale, the concept behind it was to demonstrate a struggle, a journey and "actions which bring results".
The way in which this concept is being captured into this piece of architecture is that through the use of such things as dark elements combined in contrast with the strongly illuminated rooms and overhead lights of the walkways it is meant to show how only by taking risks and living life as if only you can make a difference is the only thing that matters.
this lighting once again is another symbolic element of this space as it allows for the viewer to see how the colour green and the starch white are reminiscent of the hospital scene - green for illness and the starch white for purity and health. Nightingale's space is a complete contrast to the airiness of Goodall's space to reflect her achievements on the more service-orientated and systematic side of humanity.
By also not having the whole element illuminated allows for the representation of Nightingale's quote showing how actions bring results, and how those results may not become apparent until some time later - hence exploration (showing link between the two clients).

This image here (above)relates to my Electroliquid Aggregation quote by showing how human rights are becoming distilled and used for inpiration into new unfound ideas and concepts.

On The Wall Space (Meeting Space): This space is for both the clients. It is a meeting space in which the two clients can go and collaborate and share ideas. It shows how as seen through my "Electroliquid Aggregation" quote how both are treated with the same consideration no matter what the views and no matter what the cause.
And remember just like mentioned in the famous words of the spice girls a meeting place is an area " WHEN TWO BECOME ONE."

This image here relates to my Electroliquid Aggregation quote by showing a common area in which the idea of great results being produced is accomplished through the form of a common meeting space.
