Something Beautiful

Human nature and its simplicities are something to be marvelled at. It is often the most basic, daily tasks that we enjoy in life, yet we take these times for granted. This picture is one of my giddy (grandfather) preparing a meal for his family, something which he regards as one of the more precious things. He loves the old way of life he knew before and one of the ways he shares this with his family is through cooking for them.

Palais de Versasilles - the Building that inspired me

The elegance and style of the palace and the beauty that it posseses are something which will never die. Its seemingly complex design, both its interior (in particular the hall of mirrors) and its exterior, has often captured my attention with the detail it engrosses in its entirety. Even till today there is constant renovation and maintenance done to ensure no aspect of it is changed. This has been a constancy since its construction and will allow generations to come to admire it as I have done.

My Creative work (best from high school)

This is a portrait of my giddy (grandfather). It was done in acrylic oil paints and was the first painted portrait I have ever attempted. In this I tried to capture the wisdom, experience and passion he still has for his his life, shown through still working full time even at the age of 90. He never wants to stop!
